A Little Rain Won’t Keep Cincinnati From Skipping Work
Monday, March 31st, 2008Abi and I had the chance to attend an Opening Day baseball game today at Great American Ballpark. The Reds took on the Arizona Diamondbacks. Besides the rain and the loss, we had a really good time. For your viewing pleasure, I have posted some photos of the game: Opening Day 2008
This isn’t your Average Movie Score
Thursday, March 27th, 2008A friend of Abi’s and mine from high school is competing in the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Her name is Anna Tunnicliffe, and she is a Laser Radial Sailor, of which I know nothing. Anyways, Grant told me recently that he thought he saw her on a K-Swiss commercial. Turns out Grant was right. Thanks [...]
NIT + CBI = LAME
Wednesday, March 19th, 2008At first when I heard there was going to be another post-season college basketball tournament this year, I thought it was a stupid idea. Taking apart laptops is not very fun, especially since I was trying not to break anything! There were ~100 tiny screws, parts taped on, and plastic pieces everywhere. I used foam board to help [...]
A Transformation: Old Laptop –> New Digital Picture Frame
Thursday, March 6th, 2008In this post I will attempt to explain [in all the gory details] the steps I used to turn my old laptop into a do it yourself LCD digital picture frame. This is a continuation on the last two posts, so I apologize if my loyal readers (all six 6,000 of them) are getting tired [...]
Bringing a Laptop Back From the Dead
Sunday, March 2nd, 2008In my previous post I talked about how a certain brain lapse of mine caused a sudden and painful death of a certain 6.5 year old laptop. Kevin even took the time to say a few words about my unfortunate experience. It was a sad day, sure, but there is a happy ending. After browsing [...]
