When wondering if it's apathy or ignorance I have to believe it's a little bit of both. My 17-year old brother knows the right answer to this question...maybe we should instigate a "pop quiz" when people renew their licenses? If people fail the quiz, force them into attending drivers ed again. It always killed me that when taking the maneuverability portion of the test you could hit (but not knock down) all five cones and still pass. It’s amazing really. Not bad considering when it went out (6:20pm) I called the automated Duke line and it said the power would be back on by 4:00AM.
